I had been on vacation trying to relax, and had received an email through my Payroll Manager letting me know that the IRS had levied my Payroll Check! My Vacation was ruined! All I could do was worry everyday of what to do. I did lots of research and settled on IRS/State Tax Relief. I ultimately had a 4-day deadline to beat! I had to get paperwork done and filled in completely before my entire check was garnished. My creditors wouldn't understand...but IRS Tax Relief Associates did. My Payroll Mgr. was actually routing for me to "Please get this all done in time. I don't want to see you lose your check Jason." And after working through the paperwork...and after Jeff worked his "magic" - my Payroll Manager confirmed she had received all that she needed and I had nothing to worry about. Her last words were, "Wow! You must have a really good tax firm! Cause he was F-A-S-T !!!" Thanks again Jeff! Jason Sims

After not filing tax returns for many years(over twenty),I finally decided in 2008 it was time to stop living in fear and find out if I could get back into the system. I always thought I would have to file all missing returns, and would owe tens of thousnd of dollars, but in my first phone call to Jeff at IRS/State Tax Relief he assured me we would probably only need to file for the past seven years. Since I was missing a few W-2 forms Jeff gathered those from the IRS and completed and filed my previosly unfiled returns. After the returns were processed, Jeff negotited an Installment agreement that gives me 60 months to repay may back taxes. I never had to talk to anyone at the IRS and am now back in the system, What a relief.
If you have unfiled returns, and live in fear of exposure like I did, I urge you to contact IRS/State Tax Relief Assocites and get on with your life. Thanks Jeff for making it so easy and painless.

My son had back taxes owed for several years and recently joined the Army (now in Iraq). My wife and i decided to work on getting him straighted out with the IRS and looked around for help. I called several organizations like the ones who advertise on the TV networks and was really uncomfortable with the fast talking and fast billing concepts and quick guarantees of pennies on the dollar. I searced the web and ran across IRS State Tax relief Assoicates,Inc. and Jeff LaBonte called me in short order and spent a lot of time walking me thru the process he would follow and also how he worked the payments to his company. I felt very comfortable and signed up for my son. Jeff tried to do a lot of things to help this situation including seeking some IRS focus on the fact that my son was now in the Army. The IRS did not budge and because of my sons lack of expenses he did not qualify for an offer in compromise. So now he is on a payment plan but interest and penalties are still applied. Jeff is in the process of negotiating them down but the IRS is slow at this. I pray this works out as positive as things have gone so far. I am happy that I found Tax relief Associates and would recommend them . Bill Miller

I was very refreshing to deal with a company of integrity, honesty, and follow-through in my time of crisis. I found IRS Tax Relief Associates, Inc after a very bad experience with JK ....

My experience with JKH was a real nightmare. I was told that I should sign up immidiately as there was a 3 working day "free look" period and my credit card would not be run for the deposit until I gave the go ahead. Well, they did run my card after I delined their services and it was months before I ever got the money back. I might never had recieved the refund had I not had my visa card on my side fighting with me every step of the way.

At IRS/ state Tax Associates I was treated with respect, dealt with honestly, and at a very reasonable fee (btw less than the cost of JKH) was moved through the process of my Offer In Compromise with professionalism and with results that I am very happy with.

I had not filed my last 8 years returns and with interest and penalties was told by the IRS that I owed nearly $50,000. When IRS/state tax relief Assoc. was done I settled and paid less than $1000.

Finally I can move on with my life and I highly recommend IRS/ state tax relief assoc. to anyone.

Sincerely,
Sean, Washington state.

I never thought that I would ever receive an IRS Tax Levy letter, but when I did in July 2007 threats to garnish my wages prompted me to turn to help immediately. I didn't know where to turn, so I went and did an online search for help. I wanted to work with a company that was local, and it was at that time when I found IRS State Tax Releif. I found the information on their website to be very helpful and their sources of information trustworthy. Jeff and Ai Ling were an absolute pleasure to work with. They helped me tremendously through my sticky tax situation and for the work they did, their services were very affordable. In addition, I never once had to speak to an IRS agent! I highly recommend IRS State Tax Releif for all your tax needs.

About nine years ago, I won a substantial amount of money in the lottery. Due to my circumstances at the time, I was not able to file and pay the taxes on that money. In addition, I thought when I received the loan from the settlement company that the taxes were taken out. I was experiencing a hardship in my life during that time, so I didn't look into it any further. When I married my wife in 2002, we started receiving statements from the IRS saying that I owed over $100,000.00, which was based on an incorrect amount. For the first two years, my wife and I tried to deal with the IRS on our own. It was extremely stressful and we were getting no where. Although we were able to correct the amount that they were using to calculate the amount of tax owed, we couldn't get any answers or response from them. We tried to do an offer in compromise, but the IRS went back on their verbal agreement so we were not finished. Finally, one day we saw a commercial about tax relief and we looked them up online and contacted IRS/State Tax Relief Associates. They helped us do a second offer in compromise. The offer was a success and we are finally relieved of this debt. IRS/State Tax Relief Associates were very helpful because they knew the forms to use and how to communicate with the IRS, so that we didn't have to experience that stress. We are so happy to have this behind us. Thank you to Jeff and Ai Ling for all of your hard work! JC

I had joint tax returns from 2001/2002 with my ex husband, with a debt of $15K which he had created and was responsible for under the divorce decree. The IRS didn’t care they about that – as far as they were concerned, we were both liable. Thanks to my ex’s non payment, by 2006 the debt ballooned into $23K+ with penalties and interest. The nasty letters starting arriving, including a notice of intent to levy. I had sleepless nights and worry over whether my bank accounts would be seized and emptied, and whether my credit rating would be ruined. I had come out of the marriage with virtually nothing, and here I was still tied to his financial mess.

Realizing I couldn’t deal with the IRS on my own, I started to look for help. I was referred to IRS/State Tax Relief and checked the website for their services and success stories. They quickly assessed my situation and got things under control. In April 2006 we applied for innocent spouse relief and separation of the liability. IRS/State Tax Relief helped me to complete the mind boggling application and walked me through the process. I was appalled to learn that my application was denied by an IRS officer who seemed to have got my case details mixed up with someone else’s! My application was appealed and it went to yet another IRS office. It was finally approved in March 2007 – I paid just over $9K and my seized refunds from previous years were only applied to my half of the debt. That was most of my savings, but I now have peace of mind. Thank goodness for Ai Ling – she was knowledgeable, professional and gracious in our dealings and helped me understand each stage of the process. She was also persistent with the bureaucratic behemoth that is the IRS. I now sleep better at night.

In May 2007, I rec'd horrible news from the State of Oregon; I owed more than 12K in back taxes! This was a double whammy because I had hired another company to take care of this back in Nov. 2006!

Well, not only did they drop the ball - they screwed up - BIG TIME! Jesus, I had paid these people a ton of money to screw up. They are even highly rated, so can you imagine how I must have felt. What do I do?

By luck, I just happen to google in HELP! Back taxes, ( really did write this) and IRS/State Tax Relief was the third on the search engine list to come up.

I emailed and called them and within a matter of a few hours they returned my call and got to work right away.

Jeff was pleasant, efficient and very knowledgable. He was outraged that I had paid so much money to the other people and still rec'd crappy and rude service.

For a quarter of what the crappy rude service people charged, Jeff was able to take care of my situation and ALL in less than a week. I went from owing 12K to owing less than 2K and I'm able to pay the balance off in monthly payments. Can you believe this?? Even better, this situation will not tarnish my credit - that means - no leins, no garnishments, no nothing!

Question: Why the heck didn't I find IRS/State Tax Relief in the first place? JESUS! All of this drama would have been taking care of in Nov. 2006.

Thank you so much Jeff for all of your professionalism, knowledge and attention to my situation. I have already recommended your service to several people.

Continued success to you and your staff,
